Dunk Contest

Okay, Not that the superman and kryptonite this year wasn't great, but come on, what kind of dunk contest has LeBron and Kobe watching, and LeBron, way to take the spotlight completely off Dwight and Nate by declaring that the people who invite the players will be inviting him next year, but that's okay in my mind because I want to see some of the game's greats participate in this contest, not 5 foot Nate Robinson taking on the Iron Giant... But still, Dwight is a strong guy, who is graceful, way more graceful than somebody his size should be, i mean most guys his side can barely leave the ground let alone take off from the free-throw line. But i still cant help but say it, the superman dunk wasn't legit, when they call it a "throw down" they don't literally mean that you can throw the ball into the net while around 2 feet away from the net itself.
When you watch the TV play Jordan, and Dr. J, and all the greats from back then, and then you see the contest these days when you just have whoever felt like showing up and can jump (no offense to guys participating because some of these guys can fly), we should see some of the guys that we're going to tell our kids about, I mean, who's telling their kid "Gerald Green was a one of a kind player!"? Nobody is that's who. I love the dunk contest i just wish they would have the real athletes of the NBA in it, i mean a Dwayne Wade, LeBron James, Kobe Bryant and Dwight Howard dunk contest would fulfill my wildest dreams, as it would just about any one's.

Alex Rodriguez stereroid use

Okay, Alex Rodriguez has dones something very interesting, he's going to use his star status to become a media darling, playing the "I was a young stupid American, I didnt know much because the public schools are terrible and i was bullied" and all this other stuff that just begs for our sympathy but I'm not buying it. We dont buy Bonds, but i respect him, he went out, spoke his mind, and didnt give a hoot what you cared. I respect Bonds more than A-Rod any day. Roger Clemens tried A-rods version, but he "mis-remembered" what his agent told him. But one thing i do know is the guy who goes up to the camera and lies. then a year later he is crying, looking for sympathy and eating around the bush, because he knows that people will forgive him. I want to see Bonds or Clemens in the hall of fame before i see Rodriguez. Bottom line, come straight out with it, tell me what you did, why you did it, When you did it not just say "Yea thats around that" and tell us that you knew that you did it, your not 5 years old and your mommy told you were taking your temperature, you're a man and you need to be honest, you dont just put whatever in your body. Respect your fan's intellegence, dont pretend we're stupid.
